This notice explains the data handling associated with vaultbamboobazaar.sbs. Vaultbamboobazaar Ltd is responsible for personal information it receives through editorial correspondence. Contact [email protected] or write to the registered office shown below.
Reading the website
The site is built from static pages. Its supplied scripts do not include analytics, advertising trackers, embedded social widgets or a visitor-account system. Ordinary requests to the hosting service can disclose technical information such as an IP address, requested resource, browser information and request time. Hosting providers may process technical logs for service delivery, security and fault diagnosis under their own retention arrangements.
The local message tool
The Contact tool constructs a message in your browser. It does not upload the fields or send email. The supplied script does not save drafts in local storage. Copying places the prepared text on your device’s clipboard after your action; downloading creates a local text file. Clipboard contents, downloaded files, browser autofill and device backups are controlled by your device and browser settings.
Closing or reloading the page may remove the working draft, although a browser may restore form values. Clear sensitive content yourself on a shared device. Avoid entering special-category or unnecessary personal information.
If you email us
If you separately send an email, we receive the sender address, message contents and associated correspondence metadata. We use them to consider questions, investigate corrections and reply. Our usual lawful basis is legitimate interests in operating and improving an editorial publication and responding to correspondence. Where a legal obligation applies, that obligation may provide the relevant basis.
Email and hosting providers may process data on our behalf. We do not sell correspondence or use it for advertising profiles. We retain correspondence only for as long as reasonably needed for the issue, editorial record or applicable legal requirement. You may ask about the retention of a particular message.
Browser preferences
If you choose a preference on the Cookies page, the site stores a small value in localStorage on your browser. It is not a contact record and does not contain the message-tool fields. Read Cookies for the storage key and deletion controls.
External websites and transfers
External reference links take you to separately operated websites with their own privacy practices. Following a link may disclose standard browser and network information to that website. We do not control those services. If a service provider processes correspondence outside the United Kingdom, applicable data-protection safeguards are required where the law calls for them. You can contact us for information relevant to your correspondence.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law and its exceptions, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. We may need proportionate information to verify a request. Send requests to the editorial email address and identify the relevant correspondence.
You may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the United Kingdom’s data-protection regulator, or another competent supervisory authority. Contacting us first may help resolve the matter, but is not a condition of raising a complaint.
